Who We Are

1FIVE1 is an Atlanta based motorcycle club dedicated to the sport of riding.

Our Mission: Our mission is to generate a high level of enthusiasm for motorcycle riding while providing a safe environment for which to do so. 1FIVE1 will accomplish this through sportsmanship, friendship, brotherhood, encouragement, fellowship, protection, image, support and unity.

Our Philosphy: 1FIVE1 is a way of thinking, something we truly believe in. We only have 1 Life, so live it well. There are Five Steps to gain true Freedom: You must have a Foundation, Strength, Support, Knowledge and Integrity. Finally, 1 Love for the sport of motorcycling.

Our History: In April 2003 co-workers of a local shipping company got together for a weekend motorcycle ride. On this particular Saturday approximately fifteen riders met at a gas station on Anvil Block Rd (Metro-Atlanta area). They rode south on I-75 to Macon, Georgia. Upon arrival, the riders stopped for lunch, and then made their way back to Atlanta. The ride back took the group through back roads in order to demonstrate each of their individual riding skills. From there the bond grew quickly and they would continue to meet for the next few months.

The original co-workers who started the weekend rides decided to create a motorcycle club. One Five One was established August of 2003. Initially, “151” stood for one hundred and fifty one miles per hour. When asked what it meant the group would jokingly reply “if you can’t ride 151 miles p/hour you can’t be a member” or “if your bike won’t go 151 miles p/hour you need to find another club to join”. It quickly became apparent to the members that this was not what they wanted to stand for. With much thought, Lee Houston, created the moniker used today. This is what 1FIVE1 Motorcycle Club represents. It represents much more than motorcycles. It is a bond between men of all cultures and backgrounds that found each other through a common interest.
